tie the knot

it's been a week....n i've jz got my space to put in da news. now i'm engaged to my love ones, fyzul faisal. it was actually planned to be a simple ceremony but it turned to be alike a wedding ceremony. im da eldest daughter plus da eldest granddaughter - no wonder. ahaha. i made my way to my hometown 3 days earlier & so my fiance. we drove separately but towards da same direction together with my younger sisters & cousins. i remember of having very tiring days - out to shops for nearly 10 times a day. exhausted. da nite before 15th, everybody was bz in da kitchen; my aunties plus a few org kampung who came to help. da menu was nasi putih, aym msk merah, several types of gulai, acar n not forgetten our desert - truffle by 'cik'.

this 'big work' candid taken by my sister, cah who insist to make my engagement storybook

they reached our house around 3.30 p.m...around 30+ people with 7 dulang hantaran. actually rumah fyzul & mine x smpai 5 minit pn jauhnye..ehehe.

these are just half of da crowds. da whole living space can't be taken in 1 shot.

as they were talking to each other..i mean da discussion between 2 families..i was inside. but basically, it was about our upcoming event...most importantly on da wedding dates. for hantaran, my family didnt ask for any amount & it's up to me & fyzul. fortunately my family was not so particular on dat coz i hate those who keep on bargaining for da amount.

mak & mama .... i really love 'mama' & will love 'mak' as well coz they both are my mother.

fyzul was waiting in da crowd. unsure of what is inside his mind......

.... & i was waiting inside with wet palms & fast heartbeats eversince i was wearing my pink set of couture.

talking bout my couture. it was specially made for me with my special request for da material, color, design & da beads itself. i was said to be a quite fussy client by fyzul but my gratitude to hasnah who was passionate to meet my needs.

back to da main thing, i was called then for ring wearing by fyzul's mom. sure enough my heartbeats turned to be faster with da all eyes staring at me while i was walking thru da crowds. fortunately da place for me to sit was very near. nway, thanx to che long & che ngah for ur companian, at least i was not alone.

this was the main thing everybody was waiting for. & this was one of my precious moments.

thank you 'mak'. thanks for accepting me & letting me to share life with da one i love.

well, this was his precious time after mine. 'ayah' was putting the ring to him. i guess ayah was quite nervous until he forgot his 'songkok'. actually ring wearing for guy's side is not a norm. depends on ur family custom or tradition.

amin...alhamdulillah. we're both engaged.

we're holding one promise, one trust, one love...one of everything.

i was then moving towards da crowd...my ice breaking session with his family. never forget to throw out da smile. n i was thanking everyone...

thank you 'che' (my grandma) for ur hardworking for da ceremony & ur blessing, vitally.

this is my beloved mama, ayah, younger sisters & brothers. thanx to Cah for being my unpaid photographer..may gift u a very 'comel' niece / nephew soon. he3..

not forgotten my aunties..che long, che ngah, cik & che su who are very excited for my wedding. so caring...loving...cooperative...supportive.... very fortunate to have u all.

i've talked bout da couture & i got one story for my makeover. my supposed to be 'mak andam' was unable to be back to Kelantan which i suddenly needed an emergency contact for dat. i managed to get one who is da mother to my youngest sister's fren. she had actually being tasked to one of wedding ceremony but willing to be my magical touch simultaneously. Thank You K Na for dat.

for hantaran - me & fyzul actually planned for 5-7. but then i noticed it should be 7-9. & for the last decision where it was actually to satisfy my grandma, it turned to be 7-7. dat wasn’t a norm to have da same nos of dulang for both parties but nothing wrong. jz an ‘adat’ which anybody can suit with their interest.

these hantaran were totally my touch. really. da material selections were mostly from ‘Summer Flora’ in Serdang. i was damnly tired for the previous week to finalise all of them. i’ve completed those for fyzul’s side before mine which at first i was hardly squeezing my right brain for an idea to start mine. ahaha. nway, i’ve done 14 decorations (7 in gold theme & another 7 in silver-lilac). i had few pats on my back by my aunties. i’m very contented!

THANK YOU EVERYBODY........
